RELUCTANCE

Out through the fields and the woods

And over the walls I have wended;

I have climbed the hills of view

And looked at the world, and descended;

I have come by the highway home,

And lo, it is ended.

The leaves are all dead on the ground,

Save those that the oak is keeping

To ravel them one by one

And let them go scraping and creeping

Out over the crusted snow,

When others are sleeping.

And the dead leaves lie huddled and still,

No longer blown hither and thither;

The last lone aster is gone;

The flowers of the witch hazel wither;

The heart is still aching to seek,

But the feet question “Whither?”

Ah, when to the heart of man

Was it ever less than a treason

To go with the drift of things,

To yield with a grace to reason,

And bow and accept the end

Of a love or a season?

--Robert Frost

"The easiest thing to be in the world is you.
The most difficult thing to be
is what other people want you to be.
Avoid letting them put you in that position."

--Leo Buscaglia

Grandfathers Joy.

A spring flower blossomed gaily in the year of 0 0 two
As jakob entered our poor lives and a ladies dreams came true Her love
it was unfolding in this joy that she be holding That's turned her
life and made her all brand new.

He had a face of beauty and I saw the Buddha there
As all around that little room pure love was everywhere
And life it whispered to me so warm and tenderly
"This gift be yours to love eternally".

Life whispered to me gaily
"This gentle child be born
To heal those ancient hurts in you
With the love within his form"

I held him to me gently with all the love in me
As I gazed into his little face so warm and tenderly
And I said "my love I give to thee
Yes I will love you endlessly
My love it be until eternity".

"I know the price of success: dedication, hard work and an unremitting devotion to the things you want to see happen."
––Frank Lloyd Wright

Go Gently In The Night.

Don't live your life in fear my child
But try to get it right
And tread your path with caution then
Go gently in the night.

Temptations they may touch your life
As they show their evil face
And this will always be a fact
While there's a human race
Yet know you well it all comes back
No matter what one does
Yes somewhere just a head some ways
Your acts will cause some fuss.

So ponder well on foolish acts
Go gently through the night
If you peer into your darkness
Someday you'll see the light.

The mind may try all kinds of thing
To cover up the truth
Yet hidden in your deepest core
Of goodness there be proof.
Yes all is wrote within ones soul
So open up your eyes
And face the fact it all comes back
Stop living in your lies.

Go gently in the night my child
Do not this fact then miss
That Karma be the oldest truth
The oldest truth there is.

~~Peace, Socrares.

"We always attract into our lives
whatever we think about the most,
believe in most strongly,
expect on the deepest levels,
and/or imagine most vividly."

TWO LEADING LIGHTS

I never happened to contrast

The two in the celestial cast

Whose prominence has been so vast.

The Sun is satisfied with days.

He never has in any phase

That I have heard of shone at night.

And yet he is a power of light

And could in one burst overwhelm

And dayify the darkest realm

By right of eminent domain.

He has the greatness to refrain.

The Moon for all her light and grace

Has never learned to know her place.

The notedest astronomers

Have set the dark aside for hers.

But there are many nights, though clear,

She doesn’t bother to appear.

Some lunatic or lunar whim

Will bring her out, diminished dim,

To set herself beside the Sun,

As Sheba came to Solomon.

It may be charitably guessed

Comparison is not her quest.

Some rumor of his wishing ring

That changes winter into spring

Has brought her merely visiting,

An irresponsible divinity

Presuming on her femininity.

Robert Frost

"The greatest discovery of our generation
is that a human being can alter their life
by altering their attitudes of mind."

--William James

AN IRISH BLESSING

May the road rise up to meet you,

May the wind be always at your back,

May the sun shine warm

Upon your face

And the rains fall soft

Upon your fields,

And, until we meet again,

May God hold you in the hollow

Of His Hand.

Success is a journey

Not a destination-

Half the fun is getting there.

•  Gita Bellin

All search for love is a search for oneself through another.

    Or put another way;

You don’t love another – you allow another to awaken the love in you.

Irish Blessing

The eye was softly weeping
As Jesus looked on out
As my eyes began to moisten
Though the mind was filled with doubt.
And I realized that I was lost
So empty deep within
And I searched within my darkest soul
Through the mind with all it's din
And I asked the Lord
"Oh Lord where am I now".
And I saw within my phoniness
That did block the blooming flower.

My mind went to my childhood
And all that I'd been taught
And I saw the walls that held me
From the peace I'd always sought
And I envied me that Angel
Who was speaking from the screen
With a voice of softest music
Like a flowing Water stream
And the singing in the background
Touched a whisper filled with power
And I asked the Lord
"Lord comfort me somehow".

I listened for the longest whiles
As I gazed into that eye
And I saw the master deep within
And I thought "before I die
then I must change and be like him
With the real peace not the fake
I must transform, I must, I must
Before it be too late"
Then I tried to stop the picture
Yet I couldn't, me no how
It maybe that it was the lord
Who was helping me to flower.

The Music In You.

Don't die with your music in you
All hid within your soul
This jewel be hiding which when found
Could make your heart more whole
You're here on Earth this time for just a spark
And this gift that you've been given
May help you through the dark.

There's a flower hid in every seed
When given love and care
By the suns good heat and the velvet rain
And the essence in the air.
Then each will blossom tenderly and sweet
And as the flower blooms and dies
A life becomes complete.

So tend your music lovingly
With the light of your awareness
Sooth it out with tender thoughts
It's strings you must caress
And then one day you'll play a symphony
As your flower blooms in the light of dawn
In the dance of ecstasy.

Scorpio.

Our Scorpio she has three symbols
The Phoenix, eagle and Scorpion.
Sometimes the scorpion takes over,
Sometimes there's stinging going on.
But like the Eagle she must rise
Above the world alive, alive!
Awareness written in her poise,
Her number it be Three add five

Intelligent and sensitive
With depth wrote in her eyes,
Oh she can pierce into ones soul,
At times she be so wise.
She delves into the deepest depths
And she loves all mystery.
Yet moods can bring her down so low
With all their misery.

And jealousy can burn in her
For her love be so intense.
As she searches for her own soul mate
That one that's heaven sent..
And desires how they burn within
As she seeks experience.
She hungers for totality
Alive in every sense".

Some day she'll go so deep within
And plumb those inner depths.
And then she'll soar unto the skies
On a wave of happiness.
Lord Pluto he may take her then
To his blessed underworld
So she may rise above those ashes
Like that mythic Phoenix bird.

"Often the dream world possesses concepts which will one day completely transform the history of your field, but a denial of concepts as actualities or possibilities within reality hold these back and put off breakthroughs that are sorely needed."

This Morning.

This morning I did walk among the flowers
In the garden where I spend some time alone
As Leanard Cohen gently sang his sad songs
And I felt my soul vibrating to his tone.
Black cockatoos they danced and weaved above me
As their piercing Screams reached up to greet the Sun
And the Kookaburras laughed to see the morning
It was five AM the dawn had just begun.

And all the folk I knew were in deep slumber
Communing with their souls in hazy dreams
And peace it ruled the world in velvet silence
As those roses painted color to the scene.
And small fish broke the surface of the water
As their pond reflected tidings from the Sun
And the perfume of those roses reached the heavens
And my mind was filled with love for everyone.

Then I raised my eyes and looked toward the heavens
Awareness sharpening this thing called I
As tears caressed my cheeks in little channels
And I asked the blessed power, "why oh why?
With all this pristine beauty all around us
Why do we act so greedy, mean and bad?
Why all these wars in the ugly name of power?
Why aren't we laughing, dancing being glad?"

Socrates.

Michael's poem, celebrating his 40th birthday

I Am Majestic

May I cherish this moment as the expression of my love

You have all gathered here to mirror that peace from above

Let me say I embrace each of you with heartfelt gratitude

Only faith could keep friends and family with healthy attitudes

Vanished are the dreams of being separated from all of you

Everyday is a gift from God that brings me closer to the truth

Drawing out a picture that is composed of many people

With hopes and dreams that to them are quite believable

Expecting that they come true is within all of our hearts

Little children that we are, to the Holy Spirit from the start

Living and pretending that each of us is separated from the rest

So you tell me, why is it when we’re together we feel the best?

In fact the dreams we have individually affect everyone else

No one is immune from the influence of those closely felt

May all of you do your utmost to forgive and love unconditionally

Your effort in this direction would be appreciated most graciously

For it has been said, “the least you do unto my brother, you do unto me”

Anyone of us harmed at all, emanates those feelings out to humanity

Moreover what is left behind leaves a trail of sorrow and pain

Involving souls who gravitate toward each other only to do it again

Learning that your actions on this earth are like seeds which you sow

Your satisfaction is not in the harvest, rather from watching them grow

Make the decision then, to be aware of exactly how you are behaving

Yes with precision and care choose wisely with whom you are associating

For these individuals will shape and have impact on the life you are living

Remember the influence from childhood you received that others were giving?

In time all that you dared to dream seemed lost, becoming but a memory

Every vision in your mind never had a chance as it faded away so gently

Never mind then paying attention to those that would scatter your hope

Do not even hold objection to questions they think matter and want to know

Such are the lessons of life that at times we just don’t get right

And by learning them the first time, we would not put up a fight

Never having to repeat them again as now they are part of our lives

Divided no longer from what we have called the sub-conscious mind

My joy at knowing such loving individuals, could not be expressed by words

Yet I will attempt to do so, no matter how much to the ear it sounds absurd

Love from my heart goes out to yours and remains there forever

In those times of doubt, think of me and remember our time together

For we have only grown from knowing each other here in this world

Every seed of love ever sown between us, only Pearls of Wisdom to behold

“My love dwells in my family, my friends and my life” www.micheleangelo.com

THERE ARE THOSE

There are those we know
buried
not far beneath this green land
with whom
we have not spoken for a long time
who remember
what we have forgotten.

One day they will speak again
surprised at their own voices
singing the old song,
how the earth is given and taken
how the world will come again.

And we who also listen surprised
will come again to the land of lands.
Our own, the place we've chosen,
after the false start
and the slouching toward
falseness.

And find ourselves on the old roads
but new, walking with Blake, head up,
toward Jerusalem.

Love is where you find it. -  Rick Ruggles

This came to us from Margaretha G. Zonjic

 I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny,
this little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven,
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels toss them down.
Oh, how I loved that story.

He said when an Angel misses you,
they toss a penny down.
Sometimes just to cheer you up,
to make a smile out of your frown.

So, don't pass by that penny,
when you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven,
that an Angel's tossed to you.

A GOOD IDEA Remember this every time you pass that little penny in the parking lot.

Leave pennies in odd places. Someone may find them who has read this poem and they will be very happy when they find them!

AN IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH

May there always be work for your hands to do;
May your purse always hold a coin or two;
May the sun always shine on your windowpane;
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;
May the hand of a friend always be near you;
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Now.................Make A wish!!!!!! and let go.

Stay open to surprises and the unexpected, for they often reveal the soul's journey.

may be." - C.G. Jung

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless
garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being
loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.

A man should look for what is, and not what he thinks should be. Albert Einstein - submitted by Cat Haggert

"Whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." (Philippians 4:8)

Bits and Pieces.....from Lee

One step won't take you very far,

You've got to keep on walking;

One word won't tell folks who you are,

You've got to keep on talking;

One inch won't make you very tall,

You've got to go on growing;

One little deed won't do it at all,

You've got to keep on going.

 The fire of new beginings

CREATING (Abraham/Hicks)

"When you understand that you will not experience that which you do not
attract through the power of your thoughts,... when you understand that
another cannot create in your experience- -then you will not fear the
intrusion of other unharmonious beings within your life experience."
--p. 60, A New Beginning (1988)

"When you recognize that you are the creator of your life experience, and
you trust that you have the ability to create in the direction that is
harmonious to your very nature, then, and only then, will you be willing to
allow all other beings, who are upon your planet, to be as they are.

From your broader inner perspective, you have intended to be an allower,
and as you participate in your physical experience, and as you become an
allower--you will find freedom."
--p. 64-65, A New Beginning (1988)
